Overcome your fears

We’re taught to conquer fear with our conscious mind, right? But this often falls flat. Our conscious brain, already influenced by fear, can make rash decisions. Fear, whether learned or instinctual, often strikes before we can think, rendering our conscious mind useless. To truly overcome fear, we must bypass the conscious and dive into the subconscious. Our bodies hold our feelings, and our nervous system is a highway for powerful sensations that can trigger emotional chaos. Psychosensory techniques can calm this emotional storm, making fear more manageable. For example, I used to be terrified of heights. Through EMDR, I've conquered this fear, climbing treacherous mountain peaks and leading dangerous rock climbing routes with newfound calm and control.
