How Brainspotting Helps

Brainspotting works directly with where trauma, overwhelm,

and stress live in the brain and nervous system. By focusing on a

specific eye position (“brainspot”), you access and release the

deeper emotional material that talk therapy often can’t reach.

This allows:

  • Reduced anxiety and hypervigilance

  • Relief from triggers

About Me

I’m Oliver Widdaker, I specialise in Brainspotting and somatic trauma work. I help clients release emotional blocks, reduce anxiety, and feel more connected to themselves. My approach is gentle, client-centered, and tailored to your unique needs.

I work with adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or triggered, providing a safe space to explore and heal at your own pace.

My Integrative Approach

In sessions, I combine several trauma-informed approaches in a way that’s tailored to each client. I may use:

  • Brainspotting eye positioning and deep trauma healing

  • Internal Family Systems work with your parts

  • EFT tapping

  • Bilateral audio and mindful listening

I create a gentle, meditative space where your nervous system can process emotions safely. Each session is unique, flowing with your experience and the needs of your mind and body.

This integrative method allows you to work at your own pace while addressing both emotional and somatic experiences.
